This is extremely sad and tragic. There appears to be no hope for this dog. The OC Shelter is full. This cute, small, friendly Terrier mix needs a rescue commitment on Friday. A0963917 Friendly male Terrier, 2 yrs old. He was hit by a car and has deep lacerations that were repaired at the emergency clinic. He is limping on one hind leg that is stapled up, so it is hard to tell if the limping is from the laceration or something else and stretching the leg out for an x-ray would pull the skin and be too painful right now. The wounds are not healing well even though he is on antibiotics and pain meds. He will need further veterinary evaluation and treatment. We are very full and cannot keep him longer, so if you can help him, you need to call me Friday and make arrangements to pick him up.
