Bam Bam (A249848), 8 month-old pit bull mix at the Pasadena Humane Society is looking for a “forever home”! Please network this lovebug!
“Bam Bam” (A249848) has been at the Pasadena Humane Society since May 8th. He was turned in to the shelter because his family had to move and couldn’t bring little Bam Bam along. They said that he is housebroken, rides well in the car, and didn’t try to escape. He was good with the children in the family, too.
Bam Bam has been very good with other dogs while he’s been here. He has even been used as the “tester dog” by our behavior staff on numerous occasions. He is very playful, but is a little bit unsure of himself.
Bam Bam participated in a Memorial Day parade with the mobile outreach unit, and had the opportunity to meet hundreds of people and a lot of dogs. At the parade and the park afterward he was very appropriate - he loved meeting kids- he was very gentle and calm around them. He knows the “sit” and “down” commands, and takes treats with a very soft mouth. See him show off his “sit” on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xoRROYvl9cc).
This wonderful dog is in the shelter at the wrong time. As we take in more and more dogs, Bam Bam is constantly being overlooked. We have been asked to get a commitment for Bam Bam by June 19th.
If you are able to rescue or adopt this darling boy, please contact the Pasadena Humane Society adoptions office at (626) 792-7151 x137, Kevin at x119 or Ute at x117. Or email Kevin at mobile@phsspca.org or Ute at ute@phsspca.org
