Ten days ago, Hasty ran into the street. You could hear the bones shatter as the speeding car hit the puppy. He cried out in pain.
Hasty (A1036785)- only 6 months old, male lab, red-listed on 6/12- has been in ISO for a pelvic fracture (that will need surgery) since he came into the shelter. But the minute he was out of the kennel -- a wild session of play and frolicking overtook him, until he dropped, exhausted.
When not scampering, he is in your lap. When not skedaddling, he is hanging over your shoulder. That's 30 pounds of amusement and love in the cutest package imaginable. 6 months of play. 6 months of joy. Now coming to an end on Friday, the 19th?
